Ι.Product Description
Our company produces high quality GR1 pure titanium sheet, which is made of pure titanium sponge melted into titanium ingot, and then rolled into coil and uncoiled, with high purity of titanium content, low impurities, very low oxygen content, hardness 68-70, capable of bending and will not produce fracture. High formability, easy to process into various shapes. In the field of aviation, GR1 titanium is widely used in the manufacture of fuselage with its light weight and high strength, which provides a safer and more reliable structural support for the aircraft. In industrial fields such as heat exchangers and desalination plants, GR1 titanium also plays an irreplaceable role, and its excellent corrosion resistance ensures the long-term stable operation of the equipment.
Ⅱ.Production process
1. Hot rolling
: Titanium slabs, like all other titanium products, originally originated from titanium ingots. But the only difference is the huge titanium ingot, the weight reaches 6~10 tonnes above. The ingot needs to be forged to make the titanium billet 210*1100*8000mm, the surface of the billet is removed from the black oxidised layer (generally a large gantry milling machine is used to remove the oxidised layer on all sides of the billet).

: After heating the titanium billet by high-pressure water scale removal of surface iron oxide, into the roughing mill for initial forming. Roughing is usually reversible rolling mode (such as two-roll or four-roll mill), through the multi-pass rolling the billet rolling to the middle thickness. This stage may also include spreading or shaping rolling to adjust width and shape.
: After the intermediate billet has been cut and tailed, it enters a multi-stand finishing mill (e.g., a seven-stand four-roll mill). Finishing rolling rolls the material to its final thickness through high-speed rolling and precise undercutting control, and adopts closed-loop plate shape control technology to ensure dimensional accuracy.
: After finishing, the titanium coils are rapidly cooled down to winding temperature by a laminar flow cooling system, and then wound into coils by a winding machine. Cooling is dynamically adjusted according to different grades of titanium and final rolling temperatures to optimise material properties. The final product may also be subjected to subsequent processing such as bundling and labelling.
2.Flattening
Flattening is the process of cutting a coil to the length required by the customer to make a piece of sheet before it is supplied to the customer from the factory.
(1) Cheap and length can be decided freely;
(2) Convenient transportation, do not have to consider according to the size of the titanium plate;
(3) Convenient to discharging, can be discharged according to the actual need for titanium plate size;
